I have been in bands all my life. I know what it feels like to hand somebody your song and then your money on the same afternoon.

The least relevant fact about me is the most useful one. I spent a decade in law and accountancy before this. Some musicians find this a red flag, others appreciate the transferable skills when the project finishes on time, within budget, with no logistical friction, clear communication and the small promises kept.

The more relevant facts are everyday and necessary: bass trombone in a Jedforest brass band as a boy. Bass guitar in high school, school shows, gigs in community centres and church halls, raiding CD collections. Rehearsal rooms and the shed all through uni. Countless gigs. Opening the studio. Touring the UK, the US and Europe a bunch of times. Session work. Slow Karma.
